Decorative Echū-Seto ware plate from the Senju-gama kiln. The kiln is run by the Yoshino family, now in its third generation. This plate was crafted at Senju-gama under Yoshino Kōhin, second-generation master of the kiln.

Echū-Seto ware is known for natural glazes inspired by the seasonal landscapes of Tateyama. Senju-gama is now led by third-generation ceramicist Kougaku Yoshino, a recognized master of traditional crafts.

This small plate features a folk like bird motif with hand painted glazes forming parts of its design.

In good condition with makers stamp on the bottom and information leaflet.
