Commissions & Bespoke work
At House of Quinn, I work with clients to create bespoke textile commissions for homes and spaces and welcome enquiries from Interior designers and customers who are looking to create something personal.
Commissioning work is a lovely way to work closely with the maker to create a truly personal and special object and offers the opportunity to include colours and fabrics that may have a personal connection to you.
HOW TO COMMISSION WORK
When commissioning work at House of Quinn, I work with the client to create work that reflects my personal style and creative approach. We can discuss past work or personal inspirations as a starting point, at each stage of the journey you will be involved in the design process, where I offer options and suggestions that align with my artistic vision while incorporating your preferences.
PROCESS
Initial Enquiry - To make an initial enquiry, Fill out the art commission form below with detailed information about your desired piece. Include inspirations, specific requirements, and your budget range.
Consultation - After receiving your inquiry, I will contact you to discuss your project in more detail. If needed we can set up a quick call or meeting to talk through the ideas.
Proposal & Quote - I will provide a detailed proposal and quote, outlining timelines, materials, and costs. At this stage I will ask that 50% of the quote is paid as a deposit.
Design & Approval - I will create initial designs and share them with you for feedback and approval, allowing for necessary revisions.
Creation - Upon design approval, I will begin creating your commissioned piece, with regular progress updates.
Please note
House of Quinn is a small design studio and business, which is run by just me. It can get very busy, especially in peak times of the year so I would advise getting your requests in early and I can help discuss expected time frames for creating the commission.
SPECIAL PROJECT, BRAND COMMISSIONS AND COMMERCIAL COMMISSIONS
We also can support brand and clients with special project commissions for such things as film and TV, brand experiences and brand commission work. We can create quilts and interior textile objects (excluding drapery and upholstery).
I have worked with brands to create quilts for PR and Marketing events, photoshoots, special projects, film and television. If you do have a project in mind, please contact us via the form below and let me know in your message that this is a special project or brand commission.
