House of Quinn ships internationally from the United Kingdom.

Orders are carefully packed using recycled or recyclable materials where possible and are shipped using tracked delivery services, including Royal Mail, UPS and other courier partners depending on the destination and item ordered. Tracking details will be provided once your order has been dispatched.

Estimated Delivery Times:

  • United Kingdom: 2–5 working days

  • Europe: 5–10 working days

  • North America: 5–10 working days

  • Rest of World: 7–14 working days

Delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by customs processing, courier delays, seasonal demand or local delivery conditions.

What We Ship Internationally

House of Quinn currently ships the following product categories internationally:

  • Original artworks (textile works, quilts, collages, paintings and mixed media works)

  • Art Prints - Our Art prints orders for the UK, USA & EU are printed to order in the country, so they are not subject to any duties or additional fees. Outside of these countries they may be subject to additional fees.

  • Books & Zines

  • Sewing Patterns

  • Quilt Markers and selected sewing tools

  • Inventory Objects and vintage homewares (where available)

Returns Due to Unpaid Charges or Failed Delivery

Please ensure your delivery address is accurate and that someone is available to receive the parcel where required.

If a parcel is returned because it was not collected, delivery was refused, customs charges were unpaid, or the delivery address provided was incorrect, any return shipping, customs, brokerage or handling costs incurred may be deducted from the refund.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

United States Shipping

US Shipping for Objects, Books & Tools

Shipping charges include postage, handling and any applicable tariffs at the time of purchase.

Items are shipped from the United Kingdom via Royal Mail.

The shipping price shown at checkout includes the costs required to send your order to the United States.

Additional charges should not normally be payable by the recipient.

US Shipping for Artwork

Artwork is shipped from the United Kingdom via UPS.

Shipping charges shown at checkout include shipping, packaging and handling costs.

Original artworks are generally imported into the United States without customs duty under their artwork classification.

UPS may apply customs processing or clearance fees as part of the shipping process. These costs are included within the artwork shipping charges shown at checkout.

Additional charges should not normally be payable by the recipient.

US Shipping for Art Prints

Art prints are not subject to additional fees as they are shipped to you within the USA.

European Union Shipping

EU Shipping for Objects, Books & Tools

Shipping charges cover postage and handling from the United Kingdom to your destination country.

VAT, customs charges and any carrier administration fees are not included in the shipping cost and may be payable by the recipient before delivery.

These charges vary by country and order value and are determined by local customs authorities.

EU Shipping for Artwork

Artwork is shipped from the United Kingdom via UPS.

Shipping charges paid at checkout cover shipping, packaging and handling only.

Original artworks are generally imported into the European Union free from customs duty under their artwork classification. However, VAT and customs clearance or brokerage fees may still be payable by the recipient before delivery.

As a guide:

  • Brokerage or customs clearance fees are typically around £10–20+, depending on the destination country and shipment value.

  • VAT rates vary by country and are calculated by local customs authorities.

Import charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are collected by the carrier before delivery. Please consult your country's customs and VAT guidance before placing an order, as regulations and rates may change.

EU Art Print Shipping

Art prints are not subject to additional fees as they are printed to order and shipped to you within the EU.

Canada Shipping

Shipping charges cover postage and handling from the United Kingdom to Canada.

Canadian GST/HST and any customs duties, customs clearance fees or brokerage charges may be payable by the recipient before delivery.

Import charges vary depending on the type of item, its value and the destination province.

Australia Shipping

Shipping charges cover postage and handling from the United Kingdom to Australia.

  • For orders with a total value below AUD $1,000 (approximately £520), import charges are generally not payable on arrival.

  • For orders exceeding AUD $1,000, Australian GST and any applicable customs charges may be payable by the recipient before delivery.

Import charges are determined by Australian customs authorities and the carrier at the time of import and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Switzerland Shipping

Switzerland Shipping for Objects, Books & Tools

Shipping charges cover postage and handling from the United Kingdom to Switzerland.

Swiss VAT and any customs clearance or brokerage fees may be payable by the recipient before delivery.

These charges are determined by Swiss customs authorities and the carrier at the time of import.

Switzerland Shipping for Artwork

Shipping charges paid at checkout cover shipping and handling only.

Original artworks are generally imported duty-free into Switzerland under Chapter 97 customs classifications. Swiss VAT (currently 8.1%) and customs clearance fees may be payable by the recipient before delivery.

These fees are determined by Swiss customs authorities and the carrier at the time of import and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Art prints are printed to order and shipped directly to you. Clearance and brokerage fees may apply.

Norway Shipping

Norway Shipping for Objects, Books & Tools

Shipping charges paid at checkout cover shipping and handling from the United Kingdom only.

Norwegian import VAT (MVA), customs clearance fees, brokerage fees, and any applicable import duties may be payable by the recipient before delivery.

As a guide:

  • Norway currently applies import VAT (MVA) of 25%.

  • Certain item categories, including textiles, may also be subject to import duties depending on their classification.

These charges are determined by Norwegian customs authorities and the carrier at the time of import and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Norway Shipping for Artwork

Shipping charges paid at checkout cover shipping and handling only.

Original artworks are generally imported duty-free into Norway when correctly declared as original works of art under Chapter 97 customs classifications.

Norwegian import VAT (MVA), currently 25%, and customs clearance fees may still be payable by the recipient before delivery. These charges are determined by Norwegian customs authorities and the carrier at the time of import and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Japan Shipping

Japan Shipping for Objects & Goods

Shipping charges paid at checkout cover shipping and handling from the United Kingdom only.

Japanese consumption tax, customs clearance fees, brokerage fees, and any applicable import duties may be payable by the recipient before delivery.

As a guide:

  • Japan currently applies a consumption tax of approximately 10% on imported goods.

  • Certain item categories, including textiles and homewares, may also be subject to import duties depending on their classification.

These charges are determined by Japanese customs authorities and the carrier at the time of import and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Japan Shipping for Artwork

Shipping charges paid at checkout cover shipping and handling only.

Original artworks are generally imported duty-free into Japan when correctly declared as original works of art under Chapter 97 customs classifications.

Japanese consumption tax (currently approximately 10%) and customs clearance fees may still be payable by the recipient before delivery.

These charges are determined by Japanese customs authorities and the carrier at the time of import and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Returns & Refunds

Returns & Refunds policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not, you may return eligible items within 14 days of delivery for a refund.

If your parcel is returned to us due to non-collection, incorrect delivery information, or unpaid customs charges, we will refund the item minus the original shipping cost and an administrative fee to cover handling and processing. Original shipping charges will not be refunded.

To start a return, please contact us with your order number within 14 days of receiving your order. You then have another 14 days to send the item back.

  • Items must be returned unused, in their original condition and packaging

  • Custom-made, bespoke, or personalised items (including commissioned artworks) and sale items are not eligible for return unless they arrive faulty or damaged

  • The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect

If returning original artwork or larger textile pieces, you must package the item securely and insure it for the full value during return shipping. We are not responsible for damage or loss in transit and cannot refund items that are not returned safely.

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item. If the return is due to change of mind or buyer error, original delivery costs will not be refunded. We do not refund express shipping upgrades.

Please retain proof of postage for your return, as we are not responsible for items lost in transit.

Damaged or Lost Items

Please notify us within 3 days of delivery if your order arrives damaged or if tracking shows the item as delivered but it has not been received. We will work with you to resolve the issue where possible.

Print Collections

Our art print collections are made to order. Please allow 10 to 15 days for production prior to shipping. Any delays will be communicated as soon as possible. Your right to return is not affected.
