Product RECALL & GSPR Regulations for THE EU

In the rare event that a product is found to present a safety concern, we have a clear recall procedure in place to ensure quick communication, transparency, and resolution. This policy outlines how we manage product recalls or withdrawals in line with the EU General Product Safety Regulation (EU) 2023/988, and how customers can contact us or our EU Representative for support.
Product Recall Procedure
At House of Quinn, every product is made with care and attention to safety, craftsmanship, and detail.
However, in the unlikely event that a product needs to be recalled or withdrawn from sale, we follow the process outlined below in accordance with the EU General Product Safety Regulation (EU) 2023/988.
Identifying a Safety Concern
If a potential safety or compliance issue is identified — through customer feedback, material supplier updates, or internal review — the product will be assessed immediately.
During this review, we determine:
The nature of the issue and any possible risk to consumers.
Whether the issue affects a single item, a batch, or all products of that type.
If a risk is confirmed, a product recall or withdrawal will be initiated without delay.
Immediate Actions
When a recall is initiated:
Sales are suspended across all platforms (website, wholesale, and third-party listings).
Euify OSS B.V., our appointed EU Representative, is notified within 48 hours.
Relevant authorities will be informed where required.
All relevant product records — including order details, materials used, and customer communications — are retained for traceability.
Customer Notification
If you have purchased an affected item:
You will be contacted directly using the email address provided at the time of order.
A notice will also be displayed on our website and social channels if applicable.
The notice will explain the issue, the steps to take, and available options (refund, replacement, or safe return).
We aim to make this process transparent, simple, and respectful of your time.
Returning or Disposing of a Product
Customers will receive clear instructions on:
How to safely return or dispose of the affected item.
Whether return shipping is required or covered by House of Quinn.
What replacement or refund options are available.
Returned items are documented and securely held or disposed of in line with safety advice from our EU Representative.
Record Keeping
House of Quinn keeps records of:
All product recalls or withdrawals.
Dates and communications related to each recall.
Reports submitted to Euify OSS B.V. and authorities.
These records are maintained for a minimum of 10 years from the date the product was first made available.
