Inventory | Curated Objects for Home & Ritual

Inventory began as a natural extension of what I already do through House of Quinn — working with materials, forms, and objects that hold meaning. While much of my practice has centred around textiles, quilts, and works on paper, I’ve always been drawn to the wider world of objects: how we arrange them, how they become part of our daily rituals, and how they ground us in place.

At its heart, Inventory is about the art of collecting. A house becomes a home through the objects we choose to live alongside — things that resonate with us and quietly shape our daily routines. Lighting a candle, arranging flowers in a vase, placing a bowl on a table, sharing food and drink with others: these small gestures are given weight by the objects that hold them.

The collection brings together sourced and selected pieces — vintage, handmade, designed — chosen for their material, form, and presence. Many are made by hand, or by artists and designers who work with the same care and attention I value in my own practice. Wood, clay, glass, metal, fibre: each material tells its own story, carrying both function and feeling.

Objects rarely exist in isolation. We place them together, we move them, we arrange them into groups. They build relationships with one another, creating small still lifes in our homes that feel both grounding and ritualistic. To collect is not only to gather but to curate, to shape an environment that supports us.

Inventory sits within House of Quinn as a space for these discoveries. It is a way of offering objects alongside my own work, so that quilts, artworks, and found pieces can be seen in dialogue. Each speaks to the others, forming a conversation about design, art, and the everyday.

You’ll find Inventory available directly through the House of Quinn store, where it will grow and change over time. Each piece is carefully chosen — not just as something to own, but as something to live with.
