2023 | Ink on Paper with Collage

The Casting series is an extension of a series of work I created in 2020. An assembly of gestural brush strokes and collage. ‘Castings’ features a series of grids or windows interrupted by shapes, lines, and forms.

“The window and net-like forms seen throughout the collection speak of a boundary line and connection to spaces. Organic forms become representational of found objects that were collected along the way, natural mementos that in my earlier years became precious memories, and the process of arranging and rearranging them became a ritual for self-expression.”

This Casting series is part of the ‘An Assembly’ Collection 2023.

They are mounted to an archival mount board ready to frame and display. All artworks are numbered and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, signed by the artist.
